Looking for a half term getaway? Shepherds Corner is still available from the 22 October. It has 2 bedrooms and a futon in the mezzanine, comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests. We are offering the entire cottage for £525 which is £35 off the usual rate. We are just a 5 minute drive from the fantastic Evenley Wood Gardens, who host a brilliant Halloween event every year.
With torch in hand, you will venture on a spooky journey of ghosts, myths and legends. On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th they will be extending our opening hours to 6:00pm. See the wood in a whole new light, following the pumpkins to see what might be hiding in the undergrowth! Little ones can take part in a pumpkin carving workshop and carve out their own creepy creations, along with gruesome biscuit decorating, all at the pavilion.
Or try your luck in the fancy dress competition. Post a photograph of yourself in the wood in fancy dress to www.facebook.com/evenleywoodgarden to be in with a chance of winning a season ticket for 2 adults and 2 children. The competition is open to any age so parents please feel free to join in!
