Geoff and the sheep are definitely happy to see the back of the cold snap and snowy weather. Lambing in minus 5 conditions isn’t much fun for anyone. Thankfully we lamb in the barns, unlike some others who lamb outside in the “fresh air”! But they are arriving thick and fast now and we even have a couple of ewes who are expecting 4 lambs! Easter is coming early this year and we still have availability in Sunrise Cottage from the 12 March to 6 April, including over the Easter weekend. It’s suitable for two to three adults or a small family. If you’re looking for a few days away with the little ones we also have cots and high chairs that we can provide free of charge as well as lots of other baby equipment.
The spacious bedroom has 3ft twin beds that can be combined to make a 6ft super king, a built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The large, contemporary bathroom is accessible from both the bedroom and the open-plan living area and features marble tiles and a large shower. The living area is fitted with a beautiful kitchen, including washing machine, oven, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and microwave, a breakfast bar for up to 4 and a two-seater sofa bed (suitable for 1 adult). It offers views over the fields, a private patio and central courtyard and has excellent WIFI, Smart and Apple TV.
The cost is £375 per week from the 12 – 21 March and £430 per week from the 22 March onwards.
